Aspen Valley Ranch: The Good Life

Another quick preview from the Aspen Valley Ranch photo shoot. Things have been quite busy lately. Right after Aspen I flew to Florida for a week of shooting healthcare projects. Now that I’m back in the office for a week it’s time to catch up on post production.  Enjoy a few more images from Aspen Valley Ranch.  Much more to come.

Aspen Valley Ranch: Preview

We had a great 4 days shooting in Aspen.  We shot a lot of images, drank a lot of red wine, and got to know a lot of new friends.  It’s always wonderful to get to collaborate with such talented people.  It was very difficult to leave a project like this but all good things must come to an end….until the summer shot on property!  Enjoy a couple of teaser shots and be sure to check back later for more about the shoot as well lots of new imagery.  Enjoy

Aspen Valley Ranch: Update

Having a great shoot here at Aspen Valley Ranch.  Thought I would share a shot from today.  Enjoy

Off to Aspen

Sitting this morning at the airport waiting to head out to Aspen to shoot one of the first homesteads at Aspen Valley Ranch.  We’ve got a great team on this project.  It was designed by HKS,Inc and developed by the team at Resort Ventures.  Thought I’d post a rendering from the project to get you excited.  Check back this week for imagery from the shoot.

MGM CityCenter: Teaser

I couldn’t resist sharing an image from this week’s shoot at the new MGM CityCenter in Las Vegas.  Enjoy

Lots and Lots of Updates

Thought I’d check in with everyone and say hello as well as say sorry for the lack of posts the last couple of weeks.  Good news is I’ve been on the road for the last few weeks on some very exciting projects that I can’t wait to share.  I finally made it back out to Lake Tahoe to reshoot the winter version of the Hyatt Lake Tahoe that had previously gotten snowed out (read about it here).  I also just got back last night from Las Vegas shooting the newly opened MGM CityCenter.  Lots of incredible stuff from Vegas, so much so that  I’ve got to get back to post production now as I head out to Aspen on Monday for a very cool project at the Aspen Valley Ranch.  Until then I thought I’d share a quick shot of my workstation at the house this morning (full disclosure, I usually work with the blinds closed when doing post production but unfortunately that doesn’t make for very pretty pictures).  Enjoy

Side Project: Projects I Love blog

While my personal blog has been an amazing outlet for sharing my work and the talented architects that I work with, I have always wanted to share and catalogue the work that is being done around the world that inspires me on a daily basis.  This is what led me to create the Projects I Love blog.  This is a blog where I will post weekly if not daily posts to some of my favorite work.  The blog is still in it’s infancy but I thought I would share the news.  So add it to your RSS reader and be ready for some really spectacular work.  Enjoy the new blog.

Four Seasons Hualalai: The Gallery

Another new post for the gallery. This time its from my trip to Hawaii to photograph the spectacular Four Seasons Hualalai.  This was a trip and a resort that was truly unforgettable (read more about the shoot here 1,2,3).  The resort itself could not be any more idyllic, from the location to the amazing staff who always seem to be a few steps ahead of you.  I can’t thank Ciro, Monica, and the entire staff at the resort enough for their hospitality and help during the shoot.  This trip was might first to the resort but will not be my last.  Without further adieu, I give you the gallery.  Enjoy

W Hollywood: The Gallery

Just wrapped up the imagery from the initial shoot out at the new W Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles and thought I would share.  Designed by HKS, Inc, Daly Genik, and Designstudio Ltd, the project is the first large scale project to kick off the revitalization of Hollywood.  I was out there for the soft opening to get some preliminary imagery for marketing and advertising and will follow this shoot up with one in a couple of months once they have wrapped up the last bit of construction.  Until then, enjoy the imagery in the gallery.

Square 320/1199 F. Street: The Gallery

Never got a chance to post the finished imagery from a shoot I did this fall in Washington, DC.  I had the opportunity to shoot Square 320 (aka 1199 F Street) during the same trip as the 300 New Jersey shoot (see more here 1,2).  Designed by Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, Shalom Baranes, and in association with HKS,Inc’s Washington, DC office, the project consists of a renovation of 4 historic properties as well as new Class A office building.  All of this joined together by a beautiful glass atrium and topped off by a stunning rooftop conference space for the top floor tenant.  Enjoy the gallery
